Humanity is seperated in two major groups. Queens and Goddesses. I named them that for two reasons: Queens rule the world, but Goddesses the universe. Additionally, human Goddesses are close to biblical or religious definitions of gods. But who gets to be a Queen and who gets to be a Goddess? Is it chosen at birth? No. At least not according to my ideology, although massive ignorance is hard to differentiate from genetic defects or a chosen path of life. The difference between Goddesses and Queens lies in that ignorance. A Queen knows, but does not learn. A Goddess learns, all the time. She reinvents herself constantly, in an almost daily routine. This flexibility requires intellect, but also endurance. Turning from a Queen to a Goddess is easy, but so it is vice versa. The difficulty lies in staying a Goddess. “Isn’t being a Queen good enough?”, I hear you asking. But let me swap the word “Queen” with “Dictator” to envoke the negative thoughts about them, yes, the ones you just had now. Tyranny, violence, and lastly a horrible end to their lives. Everyone suffers from the lives of the Queens, including they themselves.

A Goddess gives her very best to avoid that. A Goddess knows about higher priorities than herself. However, another defining aspect of a Goddess is hypocrisy, or better: the lack thereof. A Goddess’ word is honest and valid, while Queens are full of hypcrisy. Their statements are worthless. A Queen lies to herself, cheats on herself to keep her holiness while committing crimes. She puts an idyllic illusion over all her deeds so she never ought to question herself. Queens turn bullies, murderes, slavers but will always justify their actions, will always create an illusional layer to protect them of the mental consequences of their own actions. But it will get them, they can hide it but they cannot avoid it. Somewhen it will strike with all its power.

There it is, another possible definition of a point of life: The goal in life could be to be a Goddess. The key in achieving this seemingly utopious goal is to abandon the habit of creating these illusory layers. To see, accept and fix the issues. This is work. And it means to temporarily abandon a lot of the achieved luxury. This is not just a psychological issue, it is to a large extend a sociological problem. Tell people to burn more fuels, to spend more money, to pay less taxes and to get new technology: it won’t take a debate for them to follow you. But tell them to cut down on wealth, to donate more or to say goodbye to products based on horrible working conditions and it will cause a lot of discussions with the improper result of nobody listening no matter the arguments. This results in a major problem:

To solve the issue from the sociological approach, you need to change the system towards the needs, wishes and habits of Goddesses. But Queens remain the majority whom you can’t convince. To solve it the psychological way, you’d have to slowly shift people from Queens to Goddesses, but this world only serves its Queens. As soon as one starts turning into a Goddess, they realize how much of this oh-so-peaceful world is an illusion, it will paralyze them. This is where the idea of going back to being a Queen is most tempting, where most fall back into their old ways. So the attempts of solving humanities biggest issue depend on the issue being solved already.

However paradox, it is not hopeless. New Goddesses rise every day, and as long as they continue doing so, there is hope that they one day will overthrow the Queens and better the world. When peace, empathy and kindness will repleace war, greed and crime.
